Childhood Dreams

Occurance	Details
Until age 5	I was blind in all of my dreams up until the age of 5. Whenever I would open my eyes in a dream it would cause me to wake up. Then one day I had a dream I was in an attic. I could hear rain outside. There was a girl my age. She said "It's okay, you can open your eyes." and from then on, I could see in my dreams.
Childhood	I had a bunch of nightmares as a kid where I was in a car with no driver. The car was going incredibly fast, but there were no other cars on the road. I was just freaked out from the speed.
Childhood	I also had a bunch of nightmares where I would trip and fall or be pushed and land so that my head was hanging over the curb and a car was zooming towards me. My head would then feel really heavy and I would try my hardest to lift my head up and get away from the street but I couldn't life it, as if gravity was incredibly strong. I would always get up JUST in time.
Preteen	I used to have a secret safe area in my dreams. It was always in a wide but shallow closet hidden in the top right corner (I'm pretty sure this idea came from my old church building). But anyway, I would climb into a small hole and it was super tight and claustrophobic thinking back. Think of Wind Waker when you would climb through the tunnels but far worse. I'd climb through them for about 15 seconds with a few turns and then be in just a little safe box room. It had no windows it was maybe like 4' x 4' x 10'. In real life I would've been freaking out, but for some reason it was just a little safe spot. And this was in multiple dreams. It was like a recurring thing that whenever I needed to escape or get away, I could just find the nearest closet in escape to my little box.
Teenager	There was a short period in my early teens where I had nightmares a lot. Eventually I became somewhat conscious of it, and if I would force my eyes open with my hands, the dream would turn into a normal dream instead of a nightmare.
College	During my college years and a bit after, I'd have dreams that I was in college and there's one class I would completely forget about and only go to like once at the end of the semester and have to take a test on something I knew nothing about.

Recurring Themes

Occurance	Details
2024-Present	Dreams where I'm captured and need to escape. It's usually wild the lengths that I go through, like skydiving, riding motorcycles through ruins, etc. I usually get captured a few times and each escape is harder but I always do escape.
Lifelong	I enter a room or area and need to get through, but it's FILLED with bugs. Like covering the walls, floors, and ceilings. And I just have to push on through.
